Structure and Formatting Guide for your Analytical Essay - 2021
Writing an essay is not so bad. If you have a structure, that is. What is bad is the formatting of the essay. And of course, if you don’t have a structure then all hell breaks loose.
But it is not hard to structure or format your essay.
You just need a bit of patience and follow the guideline that I have made for you. As an essay writer, it is important that you understand the importance of these things. And know how to get it all done.
Well, my tips will ensure that you get your job done easily and quickly.
So, here they are.
Tip #1: The Basic Structure
Before we begin, you need to know the basic structure of essays. When I was asked to write my essay in analytical theme, I will have at least five paragraphs. The first will be the introduction and the last will be the conclusion.
In between them, there will be three body paragraphs and they will discuss three separate ideas of the same thesis.
The thesis will be at the end of the intro.
Tip #2: Use Outlines
The best way to structure your essay is through an outline. This technique is used by the writers of an essay writing service. They create outlines to make essays more organized.
This allows them to separate ideas and nothing comes off as a jumbled mess in their essays.
That is why they are known as professionals.
Tip #3: Get Templates
Your professor will tell you which format you need to follow for your essay.
What you should do is: get a template for that format online. This template will show you what you need to write and WHERE to put that information.
The “where” is super important for organization purposes, of course.
Tip #4: Generate Citations
Your professor will ask you to add citations to your essay.
Well, there are websites available online that can create citations in any format. You just need to gather the data and enter it.
So, instead of wasting time on making citations, have them generated. But study the citations anyway because these online websites are not always correct.
Tip #5: Know the Basic Rules
When it comes to formatting papers, we have some basic rules.
The margins should be 1 inch. The font size should be 12. The font should be readable. The page should be double-spaced.
These rules apply to almost every format so remember them. And then format your paper BEFORE you start writing. It makes things easier.
Tip #6: Mind-Mapping is Important
This is a tip for structuring.
Mind-mapping not only allows you to generate ideas but also links them together.
Then you can discard the bad ones and keep the good ones. This allows you to form paragraphs that discuss different points.
If all your paragraphs discuss the same points then this will make your essay super weak.
Tip #7: Revise
I know that you are probably SICK of hearing this but revision really does help to make your paper better.
You are only human and you can make mistakes. I bet that you are gonna make a lot of mistakes before you get your perfect paper.
So, after you are done with everything, go back and look for what you have missed.
I am sure you will appreciate this tip when you get good grades.
These were my words of wisdom.
I am hoping they can help you.
And if they can’t then a writing company sure as hell can. Professional writers can teach your professional writing. It is as simple as that.
